The Company was first established in 1917 as a continuation of a Dutch company Commisie Inlandsche School voor en Volkslectuur. In 1996, the name of PT Balai Pustaka (Persero) officially launched. Balai Pustaka is domiciled in Jakarta and has 2 printing units, namely Unit Percetakan I in Pulokambing Pulogadung Jakarta and Unit Percetakan II in Rawa Gatal Pulogadung Jakarta. Balai Pustaka's performance in 2012 improved over the previous year. The Company booked total net profit amounted to Rp 1.9 billion in 2012, or increased 90% from Rp 1 billion in 2011. To support its progressive growth and build the organizational capability, PT Balai Pustaka (Persero) are seeking for suitably qualified and professional candidates to join as following position

Kepala Departemen Multimedia (Kadep Multimedia)

Requirements

Minimum S1 any discipline, (preferably a graduate of Computer Engineering or Multimedia).
Male or Female, maximum 30 years old.
Have a minimum of 3 years experience in field of multimedia production (television networks, content management systems, web servers, digital media products, games, videos, movies).
Familiar with digital media tools and production, including digital book / flipbook, compositing and editing, and distribution infrastructure.
A team player, able to work independently and multitasking.
Fluent in English, at least passive.
Having a concept and capable of implemented its concept.
Familiar with the multimedia standard softwares (Adobe Premier, Flash, etc.).
Good looking, neat and polite.
