PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk - Bank BRI or commonly abbreviated as BRI is the second biggest banks in Indonesia with total consolidated assets of Rp 643.48 trillion at the end of June 2014. BRI is a state-owned banks with majority shares owned by the Government of Indonesia. As of December 2013, the Government of Indonesia holds 56.75% shares in BRI and other remaining shares was owned by Public.
BRI currently has 10,060 office networks nationwide, including 1 head office Jakarta, 19 regional offices, 456 branches, 566 sub branches, 5,149 BRI units, 962 cash offices, 2,441 Teras BRI, and 466 Teras mobile. BRI succeeded in achieving acceptable and sound growth in the second quarter of 2014 (2Q 2014). According to Bank BRI's 2Q 2014 publication reports as cited by JobsCDC.com, BRI recorded a growth of 29.43% in total comprehensive net profit amounted to Rp12.07 trillion over the previous year.
