Pemerintah Kota Surabaya - Pemkot Surabaya or the Surabaya City Government is the local government at Surabaya City, the capital city of the East Java Province. The City occupies an area of 33,306.30 Ha and located at the Northen Coast of  East Java Province. The City borders with Madura strait in the east and north, Gresik Regency in the west, and Sidoarjo Regency in the south. Surabaya is recognized as the second largest city in Indonesia with a population of more than 3.1 million people. Administratively, Surabaya is diveded into 31 districts and 160 villages. Pemkot Surabaya was lead bt a Mayor and the current mayor of Surabaya is Tri Rismaharini. She was the first female mayor of Surabaya. Surabaya received numerous national and international awards, among others Adipura, Adiwiyata, Kalpataru, Energy Globe Award 2005, ASEAN Environment Sustainable City, Green Apple Award 2007.
